The hotel features 369 guest rooms and suites, a spa, restaurant and lobby bar, fitness centre, outdoor pool and eight meeting rooms including a heritage-listed ballroom seating up to 400 people.The hotel is looking for a creative, motivated Commis Chef to work in our Pastry kitchen.
You will report to the Executive Chef as well as be part of a large kitchen team.ResponsibilitiesAssist in pastry production and preparation to maintain quality and presentation standards.Collaborate with the pastry team to ensure efficient operation in a high-volume kitchen.Adhere to food safety and hygiene guidelines and maintain clean and orderly work areas.QualificationsAbout you:Excellent organisation and time management skillsCertificate III in patisserie or higherThe ability to work most effectively in a team environmentA fantastic attitude to providing quality work and serviceCreative flair and great ideasExceptional at production of large quantities of food and have a flair for presentationQuality and portion controlAbility to work weekdays and weekends on a rotating weekly rosterUnderstanding Food Safety industry requirementsHave valid work rights in AustraliaIf this sounds like a role for you, we would like to hear from you.
