$35 - $40 per hour + Superannuation (Dependent on experience)

Our client is a leading supplier of plant maintenance, fabrication and project services to the mining resources across Australia. An opportunity has become available for a Customer Invoicing Officer to join their Finance Team, raising invoices mainly in the Mining industry.
Key duties and responsibilities:
* Raising weekly and monthly invoices
* Assistance with the preparation of monthly progress claims
* Compilation of the supporting substantiation to be provided with the submitted invoices – timesheets, equipment, and accounts payable documents
* Active review of work in progress to ensure invoices are raised on a timely basis and as due
* Interaction with customers throughout the billing process
* Follow up of outstanding invoices
* General office duties including scanning and filing will also be required
* Data entry of equipment timesheets will also be a requirement
Qualifications & Requirements:
* Experience in the invoicing/billing process and accounts receivable management
* Experience in the mining and construction industry is an advantage
* Experience processing large volumes of paperwork
* Ability to interact with staff at all levels of the business
* Strength in building interpersonal working relationships and performing effectively within a team
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Must have a keen eye for detail
* An aptitude for working with Accounting software and ability to quickly learn systems
* Strong literacy in the Microsoft suite of products – Excel, Word, and Outlook
