**Job Description**:
Griffith University is a leader in tertiary education sector social media and is looking for a Social Media Officer to join our team of experts.
In this position, you will use on-trend formats and sounds to connect and engage with humour and flair. You will play an active role in moderation and engagement across all our channels. Your challenge is to connect with, and build, our audiences through fun, punchy and relatable content that inspires people and makes them laugh while being educational and informative. You will work across all our campus to develop content that highlights the achievements and reputation of Griffith and what sets our university apart.
**What we can offer**
This is a continuing fulltime position and can be primarily based at either our Nathan or Gold Coast campuses. As Griffith is a multi-campus University you may be required to work across other campus locations.
The full time equivalent base salary will be HEW Level 6 range $85,287 to $90,972 per annum + 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $99,785 - $106,437 per annum.

**About you**
You will be a user of, and a content developer for, all social media platforms. You will be across all social media trends with a particular interest in new platforms such as TikTok. You will be competent using mobile hardware and software to create digital content and your creative, funny and relatable ideas will speak to our audiences. With a deft touch for social media engagement, you'll help make the Griffith social media channels a must-follow.
