The Service: ANZUK is supporting a well-established early childhood organisation who prides themselves in their commitment to providing high quality education for children, and providing a fun, supportive team to work in!

The Role: We are seeking an experienced and passionate Centre Director to lead our Long Day Care service. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the centre while ensuring high-quality education, care, and compliance with national regulations. The successful candidate will inspire and support a team of educators, foster positive relationships with families and the community, and maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for children.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead the overall management and daily operations of the centre
* Ensure compliance with the Education and Care Services National Regulations, EYLF, NQS, and Child Safe Standards
* Provide pedagogical leadership to support high-quality teaching and learning practices
* Manage, mentor, and support educators through professional development and performance management
* Oversee staffing, rostering, and workforce planning
* Manage centre administration including enrolments, occupancy, budgets, and financial systems
* Lead the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) and support the Assessment and Rating process
* Build strong relationships with families and maintain positive engagement with the local community
* Foster a collaborative, respectful, and supportive team culture

About You:

* Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care
* Minimum 1 year of experience in a leadership position
* Strong knowledge of the EYLF, NQS, and Child Safe Standards
* Experience leading teams and supporting educator development
* Understanding of budgeting, financial management, and service operations
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to build strong partnerships with families, educators, and the wider community
* A values-driven leader who demonstrates integrity, respect, and a commitment to quality education and care
