About the role
As a Food Services Team Leader your responsibilities for the day to day running of the department will include:
Staff management
Resource allocation
Ordering/procurement
Food safety
Quality and functional supervision
Providing leadership and direction to the team to compliment the strategic direction, operational processes, budget and business direction of the hospital
Essential criteria
Experience in a supervisory/leadership role within a kitchen or Healthcare facility or hotel environment
Leadership capability to develop staff in delivering exceptional service
Demonstrated commitment towards quality improvement
Highly developed interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Experience in rostering, staffing, and supervision of staff
Handle enquiries and resolve complaints
Ability to manage multiple tasks in an organised manner
Excellent communication skills
Flexibility and adaptability
Role would suit experienced hospitality supervisor
