**About the role**:
The compliance manager will be responsible for ensuring that the business within Australia and New Zealand are operating according to regulatory, industry, legal and company standards and requirements.
- Manage compliance training and assurance programs and support internal governance reporting.
- Maintaining the Compliance obligations register and compliance risk register.
- Performing internal reporting to the Australian and New Zealand Board and Risk Committees and Group.
- Managing Compliance Reviews for Australia and New Zealand.
- Working closely with the global compliance function including managing the compliance assurance review program in Australia and New Zealand.
**About you**:
- Solid Regulatory compliance experience within the insurance industry is a MUST
- Experience in escalating key risk and compliance issues to senior stakeholders in the business
- Exposure to board and risk committee reporting.
- Experience in performing internal reporting.
- Line 2 compliance exposure.
