Job Description
Due to continued growth in our Program Management Business Line, we are seeking an experienced Manager to join our ANZ team in a senior leadership capacity, based in either Brisbane or Sydney as a Sector Manager.
How you'll make a difference
* Support the execution of sector-specific strategies and drive profitable growth through effective client engagement and market differentiation.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, industry partners, and stakeholders.
* Oversee recruitment, development, and succession planning for your team, including workshare across the sector.
* Foster a supportive and inclusive work environment, empowering team members to take ownership and encouraging professional development.
* Ensure delivery excellence across all projects by maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
* Implement digital and AI initiatives within the sector and uphold project governance and delegation of authority requirements.
* Actively participate in technical and project management roles, including GNGs, project risk reviews, and governance reviews.
* Champion a Quality Mindset and ensure the consistent application of AECOM's policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
* Relevant professional certifications (e.g., PMP, RICS) are an advantage.
* Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management and technical delivery within the engineering or construction industry.
* Experience in client engagement, work winning, market positioning, and delivery excellence.
* Proven track record of leading teams and managing large-scale projects, particularly in the relevant sector (e.g., infrastructure, roads, or highways).
* Strong leadership and team development skills, with a focus on fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
* Excellent client engagement abilities, with a demonstrated history of building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
* Proficient in project governance and risk management, with experience in implementing approval processes.
* Knowledge of digital initiatives and their application within the engineering sector.
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
* Ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and navigate organizational change.
* A commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
