Geological Client Manager Position Overview
Job Description
Fleet Space Technologies is a leading provider of Geophysical sensing for mineral exploration, leveraging space-enabled technology to build the world's best vertically integrated platform for ML-driven mineral discovery.
We are seeking a skilled Geological Client Manager to join our team and work with curious and ambitious data-driven geoscientists to realize this groundbreaking work.
This role involves managing mineral exploration projects or clients in mining, mineral exploration, or geophysical surveys, requiring strong technical background in geology or geophysics, excellent communication skills, and hands-on experience in exploration programs.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's or higher degree in Geology, Geophysics, or a related field, with 5-10+ years of experience in project management within the mining or mineral exploration sector.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage geological interpretation and client deliverables
* Develop customized exploration programs tailored to client needs
* Collaborate with clients to plan and execute exploration programs, ensuring seamless integration of ExoSphere into their workflows
* Communicate with clients to understand geological settings and local geology of project areas
* Work closely with geology, geophysics, and machine learning teams to analyze and interpret multiphysics model results
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's or higher degree in Geology, Geophysics, or a related field
5-10+ years of experience managing mineral exploration projects or clients in mining, mineral exploration, or geophysical surveys
Strong technical background in geology or geophysics
Excellent relationship-building skills and hands-on experience in exploration programs
Experience with ambient noise tomography, horizontal-to-vertical spectral ratio, magnetotellurics, and ground-based gravity is an asset
Proficient in geological or geophysical modeling software
