An exciting opportunity exists for a passionate Social Worker to provide dedicated support in Moranbah, Central Queensland.
The successful applicant will work across the local high school and two primary schools, supporting the mild to moderate mental health needs of the student population and making a meaningful difference in the wellbeing of young people within the community.
This is a progressional position as per the Role Description.
The successful applicant will be appointed to the lower classification with eligibility for progression to the next, once specific criteria have been met or demonstrated.
Please note salary rate shown is reflective of both classification ranges.
The Student Wellbeing Workforce aims to ensure every Queensland primary and secondary state school student has access to a wellbeing professional at school.
The focus of the role is to provide support for students with mild to moderate mental health concerns.
Wellbeing professionals employed through the Student Wellbeing Workforce program work as part of schools' established student support teams to enhance the wellbeing and mental health support available to students.
