Key Responsibilities:
* Provide expert advice on human resource policies, procedures, and workforce management issues.
* Support the Deputy Director-General and Business Manager in delivering key projects.
* Analyse and prepare reports and correspondence on human resource initiatives.
* Drive continuous improvement by reviewing and implementing process enhancements.
* Manage the divisional shared mailbox.
* Champion a workplace culture that supports First Nations people.
Requirements:
* Strong knowledge of operational human resource functions, including recruitment and workforce management.
* A solid understanding of human resource legislation and policies in a government context.
* Exceptional communication skills to deliver clear, concise, and influential advice.
* Experience using systems such as Aurion, iLearn, Power-BI, and Timekeeper.
* A proven ability to build strong relationships and contribute as an effective team member.
