About Us:
At easykind, we are at the forefront of healthcare, specialising in medicinal cannabis to provide compassionate and innovative solutions for patient care. As a rapidly growing start-up founded by patients, for patients, we are thrilled to welcome new members to our exceptional team.
We're a passionate, goal-driven team with the mission of providing a 5-star service whilst providing the most cost-effective solution to high quality plant based medicine in Australia. We don't want to be the everyday medical clinic, instead bringing relatability and friendliness mixed with a level of professionalism to simplify the process for our patients.
What we're looking for:
We're looking for someone practical, proactive and a little bit pedantic (in the best way). As our part-time Facilities Associate, you'll be the person who keeps everything running behind the scenes.
You'll need a driver's licence and your own car. You'll be assigned the Facilities basement car spot.
What You'll Do:
Facilities-based Work:
* Order office supplies each week (keeping it fun and within budget)
* Keep the cleaning roster running smoothly
* Keep shared spaces tidy and stocked, including the kitchen, meeting rooms, sensory rooms, and more
* Maintain our stationery cupboard and ergonomic supplies
* Manage office passes, day access, and keys
* Take care of our coffee machine, Bertha (she's pretty high maintenance but we love her)
* Handle ad-hoc errands like printing or Officeworks, Kmart, Coles, and Dan Murphy's runs, etc
* Be the first port of call for building issues - arrange the tradies, liaise with the cleaners, building managers.
* Act as the PoC between the building management and easykind
* Coordinate desk moves and team reshuffles
* Organise staff travel & accommodation
* Pitch in on small facilities projects to improve the space
* Audit, organise, represent First Aiders, Fire Wardens, Health and Safety
Internal Events/Culture Touchpoints:
* Plan and deliver team events big and small - from Friday decompress to the Christmas party.
* Corporate events like the company 'All-hands' and other presentations
* Keep an events calendar humming so birthdays, milestones, and celebrations never slip through the cracks.
* Work with our Culture Captains to bring recognition and wellbeing initiatives to life.
* Manage the practical stuff (budgets, suppliers, catering, venues) so events run smoothly without breaking the bank.
You'll Love This Role If You:
Are someone who spots what needs doing and just does it. No one needs to ask, remind, or micromanage you. Fridge a mess? You sort it. Milk running low? You add it to the order. Cardboard dumped in a corner? Gone before anyone notices. Rogue mugs or whiteboard scribbles left in a meeting room? Handled. This is a key priority in this role
* Like organising recurring tasks like orders and rosters without letting anything slide
* Is someone who takes initiative with systems to keep supplies topped up and spaces in order
* Is a good communicator and keep things budget-conscious
* Are happy to roll up your sleeves, whether that's moving desks, tidying up, or running errands
* Work well independently and enjoy variety in your day
* Bring warmth, care, and a service mindset to everything you do
* Like moving around and solving the little things that keep the place humming.
