About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Treasury Analyst to join our Treasury team in Sydney. Reporting to the Treasury Manager, you will provide accounting, financial reporting and compliance support across trust management and treasury operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant treasury activities.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
* Preparation of financial reports in accordance with accounting standards
* Assisting with treasury accounting entries, month‐end close processes, and compliance with accounting standards.
* Monitoring and reconciling trust bank accounts, treasury income, and expense transactions.
* Supporting treasury audits and regulatory reporting requirements .Preparing monthly trust cashflows and ensuring accurate and timely execution of cashflow distributions.
* Assisting with preparation of cashflow forecasts aligned with local tax, BAS, and GST payment cycles.
* Preparing treasury reports including cash position summaries, covenant reporting, and funding requirements.
* Monitoring and accounting for warehouse facilities and related funding arrangements, including tracking portfolio parameters and preparing funding notices.
* Maintaining banking and investor relationships and supporting account administration
* Identifying process improvements and assisting in implementing treasury and internal control systems.
* Completing other duties as directed by management.

Experience and Qualifications
To be considered for this role, applicants must have:
* A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
* Minimum 3+ years of experience in a similar treasury, finance, or accounting role.
* Professional accounting certification (CPA or CA) is advantageous but not essential.
* Strong understanding of cashflow and liquidity management, treasury operations, and financial reporting.
* Experience with treasury accounting, audit compliance, and regulatory reporting.
* Familiarity with risk management principles and treasury policy compliance.
* Knowledge of debt capital markets and securitisation (desirable).
* Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills for forecasting and scenario analysis.
