Location: Glenorchy, Tasmania

Environment: Ground floor accessible office, studio space and CNC workshops

Employment: Full time, Salaried (38 hours per week)

Start time: 6am - 9am, at preference of employee

Structure: Primarily in office, with some WFH opportunity for post production tasks

Salary: $85,000 - 100,000 per year, depending on experience

Superannuation/Leave: 12% Super, 20 days Annual Leave, 10 days Sick/Carers Leave

Start: Late May 2026, or earlier if that suits the candidate.

About Ignite Digi

Ignite Digi is an award winning team that designs and manufactures premium cinema camera and gimbal accessories for the film/TV industry. Based in Tasmania, we ship our hardware to film sets across the globe. Our products have been used on productions such as Disney's Mulan, Deadpool 2, Marvel's Venom, A Star Is Born, HBO's True Detective and many more.

We pride ourselves on product and engineering excellence, supported by a strong visual identity that reflects the visual customers our products serve.

The Role

We are seeking a multi‐talented E‐Commerce and Content Manager to work alongside co‐founder/product manager Tom Waugh, to communicate our product capabilities to our global customer base.

This role requires a blend of creative and technical skills.

You will be responsible for the "digital storefront" of Ignite Digi: ensuring our products are presented with world class imagery, compelling technical copy, and high production value video content.

You will be based at our HQ in Glenorchy, with your own office/studio space.

The office has sit/stand desks and the studio portion has a lighting grid to provide a ready to use space for product imagery.

All required camera equipment, as well as appropriate computer and software licences, will be provided.

Key responsibilities

E‐Commerce and Product Presentation

* Build and manage comprehensive product pages on Shopify.
* Translate technical specifications from the Product Manager into informative, SEO friendly, product copy.
* Ensure product listings feature high‐quality imagery that aligns with the Ignite Digi brand aesthetic.

Content Creation

* Film and edit product launch and technical support/tutorial video content.
* Capture high‐end product photography for use across web, social, and some print.
* Design flow diagrams and other technical documentation with information provided by the Product Manager.

Digital Marketing and Communications

* Draft, design, and schedule product launch emails and newsletters in Shopify's Messaging app.
* Work on designs for creative brand swag: stickers, attire and even hot sauce.

Production Asset Management

* Liaise with the Product Manager to design and output precision laser marking files for hardware using Adobe Illustrator.
* Maintain a rigorous file management system, ensuring all raw and finished assets are archived and easily accessible to the team.

Candidate requirements

Technical Skills:

* Ability to set up, build, and operate cinema camera systems.
* Familiarity with the systems we support: RED, ARRI, Sony, DJI is a significant advantage).
* High proficiency of video editing in DaVinci Resolve or Adobe Premiere Pro, including color correction and basic sound design.
* High proficiency in photo editing and working with stacked imagery in Adobe Photoshop.
* A strong eye for lighting and composition.
* Experience using Adobe Illustrator for design files is highly regarded, but can be learnt.
* Previous experience managing a Shopify store is highly regarded, but can be learnt.

Personal Skills:

* Attention to Detail: You are someone who notices a 1px misalignment or a minor typo.
* Organisation: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, while keeping digital assets organised.
* Collaboration: Ability to work with the product manager and engineering team to understand and then convey product capabilities.
