We are currently looking for a highly experienced and disciplined Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical & Avionics) to join our team in Melbourne, VIC. If you're a proactive, flexible, and experienced professional with a drive to succeed, you're the type of person we would like to welcome onboard.
Your role
In This Role, Your Key Responsibilities Will Include
* Dismantling, inspecting, testing, repairing and reassembling aircraft engines, ancillary components, accessories, and electrical systems
* Conducting routine pre‑flight checks and inspections of engines and equipment
* Maintaining thorough records of actions taken
* Assembling components, parts and subassemblies of aircraft engines and equipment
* Testing, maintaining, replacing, and upgrading aircraft safety equipment
The essential requirements
* 3+ years experience on General Aviation aircraft
* Trade Certificate IV (Mechanical or Avionics) & CASA or EASA licensed
* Highly skilled and competent in aircraft mechanical system troubleshooting, repair and installation of mechanical components
* Strong team player
* Ability to follow supervisory direction
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Consistent positive and proactive attitude
* Passion for safe work practices
* Red ASIC card (or ability to obtain)Current Australian Driver's licence
* Valid work visa
