The Job:
This is an exciting opportunity to drive business growth in the SA/WA/NSW markets. Working autonomously and being highly motivated, you will drive revenue growth within Innova Asset Management through the promotion of their portfolio solutions to existing and prospective clients – Financial Planners. This will be accomplished by generating and following up on new business leads, building rapport with existing and potential clients and leveraging any existing referral networks.
NB. Interstate travel and overnight stays away for work will be required to fulfil the requirements of the role.
Role may be fully remote if based in South Australia or Western Australia, with travel to Sydney, Adelaide &/or Perth required on every 2-3 months.
* Drive revenue growth and achieve targets with existing and prospective clients (through referrals, networking, cold calling, advertising, or other lead generation).
* Delivering sales presentations to existing and prospective clients. These may include conferences, large adviser workshops or adviser showcase day presentations.
* Following up leads from various referral sources and regularly meeting with prospective clients.
* Service, management and expansion of existing clients (financial advisers) as well as other Innova stakeholders via phone, email, and face-to-face conversation.
* Ownership of deals in Innova CRM, ensuring data is accurately captured and maintained on a regular basis.
* Provide ongoing support to new businesses transitioning to Innova's implemented services.
* Provide input into the marketing collateral and continually refine and improve on Innova's communication methods.
* Maintain strong relationships with referral sources through regular contact and meetings.
* Attend industry functions (such as association events and conferences) .
Your skills:
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
* Bachelor degree in Finance, Economics or Commerce (desirable)
* A strong track record or Business Development, Sales or Practice Management within the Financial Services Sector
* In-depth understanding of funds, investment and/or asset management
* Experience and existing network in the financial planning sector would be highly regarded
* Exceptional communication and client service focus
* A high level of motivation and self-drive. Willing to go the extra mile to generate new business, but also able to work within a team and support others
* Strong commercial and negotiation skills, with a high level of attention to detail
