About the role
Connect Accountants & Advisors' is seeking a Senior or Intermediate Accountant to join our team in Ballina, NSW. This is a full-time opportunity for an experienced professional looking to make a meaningful impact within a growing accounting and advisory firm.
What you'll be doing
* Delivering high-quality accounting and taxation services to a diverse portfolio of clients
* Preparing and reviewing financial statements, tax returns, and other related financial documents
* Providing proactive advice and strategic guidance to clients on tax planning and compliance matters
* Collaborating with the wider team to ensure seamless client service and the achievement of business objectives
* Mentoring and supporting more junior team members in their professional development
What we're looking for
* Qualified accountant with 5+ years (Senior Accountant) or 2-5 years (Intermediate Accountant) (Will also consider those studying to complete qualifications)
* Demonstrated expertise in taxation, including individual, partnership, company, and trust tax returns
* Excellent communication and client service skills, with the ability to translate technical information into practical advice
* Passion for staying up-to-date with the latest industry developments and regulations
* Commitment to continuing professional development and a desire to mentor more junior team members
