As part of this team, looking out for each other and being respected isn't just talk—it's how we work.We invest in our people with paid training, career pathways, and quality equipment to make your job easier and safer.Whether you're just starting out or looking to step into specialist roles, if you've got the right attitude, we'll back you.The Role: HR Driver:As an HR Driver, you'll be the face of Sadleirs on the road, behind the wheel of our company-owned trucks, proudly sporting Sadleirs Green!Your responsibilities will include:The safe transport and loading of goods ensuring all relevant requirements are met including strapping down of load, correct loading procedures and manual handling techniquesEnsuring that pre-start safety checks are completed on the vehicle and if required complete or organise maintenance or repairsBeing responsible for all con notes having the correct weight, cubic, dated, driver number pallet & Dangerous Goods informationResponsibility for the proper collection, processing and handling of freight con-notes and other freight documentation including, but not limited to, Pallet, load sheets, timesheets and daily run sheetsAdequately following all requirements in displaying correct signage and completing Dangerous Goods paperworkInspecting loads for damage or issues, report problems and offer suggestions or solutionsComplying with pallet management and control proceduresCommunicating with forklift operators, fleet controllers and transport managers from Sadleirs Logistics and other terminals to ensure correct freight is collected and loaded safelyFollowing correct manual handling techniques and ensure seating is ergonomic and comfortableTo actively promote positive cultural behaviours and attitudes in support of company ethosWhat you'll need:Valid Australian HR Driver's LicenceAt least 1 year of experience is requiredStrong understanding of Load Restraint and Fatigue ManagementDangerous Goods Licence highly advantageousExcellent customer service and communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a team environment and more importantly a fantastic, can-do attitude; andThe right to live and work in AustraliaWhat Sadleirs Offers YouJoin a company where you're not just another number – you'll be respected, feel valued and be supported by a team that looks out for each other.
