About This Opportunity
Step into a pivotal leadership role in shaping the future of medical education at UQ. The Academic Lead, Years 1 & 2, will drive curriculum development and integration for the foundational years of the MD Program, collaborating closely with the MD Course Coordination Team Convenors to support high‑quality teaching and learning. Likewise, the Academic Lead, Years 3 & 4, will design and integrate the curriculum for the final years of the MD Program, ensuring students are fully supported as they advance toward clinical practice. Both roles offer the opportunity to influence the delivery of transformative medical education within a collaborative, innovative, and student‑focused environment that reflects UQ’s commitment to excellence and impact. Responsibilities
- Drive curriculum development and integration for Years 1 & 2 of the MD Program.
- Collaborate with the MD Course Coordination Team Convenors to support high‑quality teaching and learning.
- Design and integrate the curriculum for Years 3 & 4 of the MD Program, ensuring progression toward clinical practice.
- Influence the delivery of transformative medical education in a collaborative, innovative, and student‑focused environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Part‑time (50%) continuing positions at Level C/D, commensurate with your experience.
- Full AHPRA registration must be held and maintained for the Academic Lead, Years 3 & 4 position.
- Experience in medical education and curriculum development is desirable. (Further duties are outlined in the information booklet.)
