The Role
The Business Development Manager will lead strategic growth, focusing initially on Supported Independent Living and Positive Behaviour Support services. The BDM will drive expansion efforts, especially around new SIL housing initiatives like SDA, and help meet the company's three-year strategic goals. Reporting to the General Manager – Disability Support Services, key responsibilities will include:
* Develop and implement strategic growth initiatives by identifying new housing, partnership, and service opportunities aligned with the company vision
* Expand service delivery through increased utilisation, reduced vacancies, and strengthened relationships with participants, families, and stakeholders
* Foster strong leadership and a high-performance culture by supporting the development and guidance of managers and their teams
* Improve participant outcomes by advocating for their needs, building trust with families, and ensuring services are culturally responsive and person-centred
* Strengthen financial and resource management by contributing to budgets, controlling costs, and driving revenue through strategic initiatives
* Maintain compliance and manage risk by aligning with NDIS standards, supporting incident management, and promoting participant safety
The Person
The ideal candidate is an NDIS experienced business development professional with a strong track record in service development, market analysis, stakeholder engagement, and presenting strategic business cases. A results-driven and collaborative approach is essential.
You will be experienced in Supported Independent Living or Specialist Disability Accommodation and will require an NDIS Quality and Safety guarding commission worker screening check along with a valid Working with Children check.
