Office Administrator and Internal Sales Support

Full Time | Mon-Fri | Long Term | Immediate Start

The AMI Group is Australia & Southeast Asia's leading wholesale distributor and agent for the world's best marine, electronic, offshore & safety products.

A full time (Monday to Friday) position has become available for a motivated individual to join our small friendly team at our Lane Cove West, Sydney office in the role of Office Administrator and Internal Sales Support.

As our Office Administrator and Internal Sales Support, you will be responsible for key office administration related activities while working closely with our head office admin team. Your role will also see you supporting our local sales team liaising with suppliers, answering telephone calls, responding to customer enquiries, processing of orders and customer service.

To be successful in this role it is essential that you have proven skills in communication, team work and the ability to liaise with others. An open mind to work across all areas of the business is essential and you will need to have the motivation and drive to consistently develop your own personal skills.

Skills & Experience required:

* Previous office administration experience.
* Competent in MS Office (word/excel/outlook).
* Exceptional organisational, time management, verbal/written skills and attention to detail.
* Mature mindset and strong work ethic.
* Able to work unsupervised and take initiative
* Experience/knowledge of marine industry (beneficial but not essential).
* Previous marine products sales experience (beneficial but not essential).
