Operating across the Sydney metropolitan area and throughout Southern and Northern NSW, we are currently expanding our presence in Northern NSW, with a new operation located in Byron Bay.
To support our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. Based in Byron Bay and supported by our Sydney office, this pivotal role is key to the success of our projects. The position is responsible for delivering accurate cost estimates, managing tender submissions, and assisting with contract administration throughout the project lifecycle.
Working closely with the Director, project managers, site team, clients, and suppliers, this role will help ensure our builds are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
About the role _
* Lead the full estimation and tender process from initial feasibility through to project implementation.
* Evaluation, analysis, preparation and submission of accurate project estimates and tender documentation.
* Interpret architectural and engineering documentation to prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
* Support Project Managers and Site Foremen with pricing variations, trade estimates, and supplier coordination.
* Present estimates and proposals to clients with clarity and professionalism.
* Facilitate stakeholder meetings to drive alignment and successful project outcomes.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
* Collaborate with internal teams to promote continuous improvement by refining estimating processes and procedures.
* Stay up to date with emerging construction methods, building technologies, and industry innovations.
* Monitor market trends and price fluctuations to inform project cost planning.
About you _
* Demonstrated experience in a similar Estimating role in residential construction.
* Solid understanding of residential construction and Australian building standards.
* Relevant qualification in Construction, Quantity Surveying or similar.
* Experience using construction software such as IPM, Cubit and Fieldwire preferrable.
