Medical Oncology Consultant
The role of the Medical Oncology Consultant is to deliver high-quality clinical care to patients in the Medical Oncology Department. This includes excelling in both individual performance and leadership within a multidisciplinary care framework.
The consultant will engage with teaching medical students, trainee medical officers, and relevant Nursing and Allied Health professionals. Additionally, they will actively participate in clinical audit, quality and safety management, clinical risk assessment, research endeavors, and ongoing medical education initiatives.

The hospital is a 280-bed acute and extended care facility providing surgical, medical, paediatric, obstetrics and gynaecology, intensive care and psychiatry services as well as extended care and regional services.
A high incidence of road accidents, skin cancer, farm injuries and work safety accidents occur in the region.

Requirements
* Registered with AHPRA and have at least 12 months recent experience in Medical Oncology
* On RACP training program within 6 months of completing fellowship
* Hold or be eligible for the FRACP
* IMG's eligible for Competent Authority Pathway - UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, NZ
* IMG's with RACP interview date
* IMG's assessed by RACP and found to be substantially comparable
