We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our production team. As a Mechanical Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing department.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

* Documenting and communicating with stakeholders in an efficient and timely manner;
">
* Ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures;
">
* Performing work accurately and to a high standard, according to drawings, specifications, and test instructions;
">
* Preparing, setting up, assembling, testing, and integrating development and flight equipment, structures, and hardware;
">
* Modifying, repairing, assembling, and installing rocket structures;
">
* Performing post-test operations and inspections to ensure flight-worthy hardware;
">
* Fabricating, repairing, and assembling hardware/equipment needed;
">
* Developing novel ways to streamline processes and increase the reliability of operations;
">
* Handling and disposing of hazardous materials in an approved manner;
">
* Collaborating with engineers to develop and document activities;
">
* Ensuring all services are performed on time, safely, and in a professional manner;
">
">
Requirements
">
To be successful in this role, you will need:
">
">
* A Level 3 Trade qualification in Aerospace, Fitting, or similar trade;
">
* At least 3 years of experience in the Aerospace, Manufacturing, Marine, or Automotive Industry;
">
* NV1 Security Clearance eligible (preferred);
">
* Exceptional time management, communication, and interpersonal skills;
">
* Knowledge of temperature, pressure, and flow measurement devices, mechanical and electrical systems, and propulsion engines;
">
* Skill in operating and manipulating machinery with great manual dexterity;
">
* Ability to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a fast-paced, challenging work environment;
">
* Experience with forklifts, cranes, and heavy equipment;
">
* Desire and willingness to assist other team members in the general day-to-day running of the department.
