This new phase of growth requires additional headcount, and this brand new role has been created for a Digital and Technology Team Lead to own the Ecommerce ecosystem.

YOUR REMIT WILL COVER
  • The website's commercial performance as a channel - traffic, conversion, AOV, revenue
  • The digital roadmap, aligned to the seasonal calendar, launches and growth targets
  • Digital reporting as the single source of truth - performance presented with diagnosis and action, not just data
Site, data & analytics
  • Site performance, speed and stability
  • The analytics and attribution layer (e.g. GA4, Polar) and the reporting cadence
  • Insight beyond surface metrics - cohort, customer lifetime value, product profitability, channel attribution
CRM & lifecycle (technical)
  • CRM architecture, automation and segmentation - Klaviyo build, flows and data structure
  • A clean partnership with the Performance/Creative Marketing Lead, who owns the campaign and EDM calendar: you own how it is built and automated, they own what goes out and when
Technology, martech & integrations
  • The marketing technology stack, integrations and automation roadmap, including AI and agentic workflows
  • Evaluation, selection and implementation of new tools against strategic need and cost
  • Technical SEO and AEO foundations - directing the agency engagement and bringing it in-house over time
  • UX/UI and front-end development priorities, and the CRO program
Leadership & commercial
  • Lead and develop the pod; brief, manage and hold agencies and freelancers to standard
  • Own the digital cost base - platform, apps, agencies - and manage it down where redundant
YOUR BACKGROUND WILL HAVE
  • Experience owning e-commerce or digital performance, ideally on Shopify Plus
  • Strong data and analytics fluency - comfortable with attribution, GA4, and a reporting/BI tool
  • Deep understanding of CRM and lifecycle (Klaviyo or similar), martech and integrations
  • Technical literacy - able to direct development, understand APIs and integrations, and evaluate AI and automation
  • Proven agency and vendor management
  • A commercial mindset - you own numbers, not just dashboards
