Cloud Solution Architect
This role involves providing solutions/technology/product consulting, technical and sales support to key Vault customers. It is based in our Canberra office and offers a unique chance to develop formal technical sales plans, proposals, and provide industry feedback into the Vault Delivery organization.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Delivering technical architectures for cloud service deployment, integrated with government enterprise networks.
2. Collaborating with customer design authorities, security governance, business users, and internal delivery teams.
3. Capturing customer requirements, demonstrating credibility, and providing technical leadership across various technologies.
4. Designing solutions for customer outcomes, incorporating Vault's secure network, storage, and cloud solutions.
5. Producing and maintaining solution strategies and roadmaps.
6. Working within project delivery structures to ensure timely completion of artefacts and documents.
Requirements for Success:
1. Deep technical knowledge in architecting, designing, and integrating solutions in large, distributed enterprise environments.
2. Understanding of Microsoft Windows enterprise environments, cloud computing, and security technologies.
3. Experience deploying solutions on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or VMWare.
4. Familiarity with private, hybrid, or public cloud technologies such as VMware vCloud Air, AWS, OpenStack, etc.
5. Proficiency with virtualization infrastructure like VMware, Xen, or KVM.
6. Knowledge of container technology and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
7. Ability to lead requirements gathering and technical scoping sessions.
8. Proven experience engaging with stakeholders from executive to technical levels.
9. NV2 Security Clearance is required.
