This role will see you analyse and harmonise large-scale claims, service and payment data across multiple jurisdictions—delivering insights that can influence national injury prevention and health policy.You’ll be part of the Healthy Working Lives Group, working closely with researchers, government partners and policy leaders. Alongside your NatCrash responsibilities, you’ll contribute to other quantitative research projects within the School.Your key contributionsConduct independent and collaborative research with real policy relevancePrepare high-quality publications, research proposals and data-driven insightsProvide guidance and mentorship to junior researchers and research support staffCollaborate across disciplines, contributing to broader research initiatives in health systems and servicesWhat You’ll BringA doctoral qualification (or equivalent experience) in a relevant disciplineStrong quantitative analysis skills (R, Stata, or SPSS), with a track record of research outputsExperience in health services or injury compensation research is desirableAbility to manage projects, work independently, and collaborate across diverse teamsStrong communication and stakeholder engagement skillsAbout Monash UniversityThe School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine is one of the largest public health schools in the Asia Pacific region.
