Within Amazon Advertising, the Ad Tech Sales Organization is comprised of sales professionals focused on developing strategic partnerships and driving adoption of Amazon Ad Tech products across agencies and enterprise clients.As an Ad Tech Sales Account Executive, you will focus on driving the adoption of the Amazon DSP, APIs, and cloud products for marketing analysis. You will build broader relationships with digital marketing decision makers, including CMOs, CTOs, procurement and marketing leaders, as well as programmatic advertising leaders to further educate on the benefits of deeper investment within programmatic advertising. You will collaborate with other sales and product teams internally, enabling solutions for marketers and creating significant new business opportunities for Amazon Advertising. Additionally, you will work closely with Amazon Advertising solutions architects to develop and promote ad tech solutions for enterprise marketers and help evolve our technology offerings for faster adoption. Building cross-functional internal partnerships with AWS to bring innovative solutions that bridge cloud and Ad Tech products is also part of your role.The ideal candidate will have a background in business development, enterprise sales, or consulting, with experience in selling and implementing large-scale projects with marketers at senior decision-maker levels. A deep understanding of SaaS companies and ad tech partners used by enterprise marketers is essential. They should demonstrate strategic and analytical thinking about business, product, and technical challenges, and be capable of building compelling value propositions across organizational boundaries. The ability to work collaboratively to build processes and scale knowledge across teams is also crucial.Key job responsibilitiesAlign with partners on short- and long-term business focuses and develop Joint Business Plans (JBP) related to AdTech.Lead the execution of JBPs and achieve key goals.Understand advertisers' business and marketing strategies, technology stacks, and develop specific plans to utilize Amazon's ad tech solutions to meet their goals.Build relationships with key decision makers, educate them on the advantages of Amazon's ad tech solutions, and obtain support for execution plans.Contribute to overall business growth by understanding Amazon's ad tech strategies and demonstrating ownership of product functions and sales programs, developing strategies, creating plans, involving relevant teams, executing, and reporting results.Basic Qualifications7+ years of B2B experience in sales or partnership development selling technology products, preferably in marketing and advertising.Excellent communication skills to influence senior stakeholders.Strong analytical abilities and confidence in data use.Excellent project management and communication skills in both Japanese and English.Bachelor's degree.Preferred QualificationsOver 5 years of sales management experience supporting teams in sales or partnerships.Understanding of database structures and SQL queries.Experience selling enterprise cloud solutions.Deep knowledge of programmatic ad tech industry and marketing automation.Ability to perform well in dynamic, rapidly changing environments.MBA qualification.Additional InformationAmazon acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia, paying respects to elders past and present, and extending this respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.Amazon is an equal opportunity employer committed to an inclusive culture.
