About headspace: 
headspace is the National Youth Mental Health Foundation providing early intervention mental health services to 12-25 year olds, along with assistance in promoting young peoples’ wellbeing. 
This covers core areas including mental health, physical health, work and study support and alcohol and other drug services. 
Relationships Australia Victoria (RAV) is the lead agency for headspace Bairnsdale which is governed by a consortium of local community organisations who provide expertise, support and advice to RAV. 
About the role 
Reporting to the Centre Manager, the Senior Youth Access Worker is a key first contact for young people accessing the headspace centre, responsible for building positive rapport, conducting assessments including risk, and ensuring evidence-based, outcomes-focused support. 
The role involves working within a multidisciplinary team, providing clinical supervision when required, and delivering youth-friendly, culturally safe, and inclusive services that engage young people and their families in collaborative care.
This role is located at Bairnsdale and is permanent, full-time with the Tuesday evening shift. 
The base salary range for this role is $106k-$109k per annum. 
About you
- Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or Nursing, with current AHPRA registration or AASW membership
- Experience in the youth and/or mental health sector, including risk assessment and evidence-based interventions
- Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
