THE POSITION
Working in the company's Tullamarine office and reporting directly into the National Sales Manager you will be responsible for growing the market share of business within the Melbourne and wider Victorian markets.
They are looking to employ an experienced Business Development Manager that has documented experience selling freight forwarding solutions to varied industries.
On an average day you will:
1. Source and develop new accounts
2. Onboard new clients
3. Manage previously on-boarded accounts
4. Visit and present to customers
5. Prepare sales presentations
6. Create solutions for customers needs
7. Prepare quotations
8. Report back to Sales Management at the Head Office
You will have the company infrastructure to be able to offer all types of logistics and freight solutions to your customers, anything from project cargo, perishables, reefer, pharma, healthcare and more standard freight solutions.
THE PACKAGE

9. A salary of $95k - $120k
10. Uncapped commission structure
11. Car allowance of $12k PA

THE CANDIDATE
This job would suit a candidate that has had recent experience selling freight forwarding solutions into any industry, preferably multiple different industries.
The ideal candidate will also have the following attributes:
13. Experience in both air and sea freight
14. Experience in 3PL (third party logistics)
15. An understanding and experience in customs clearance
16. A new business development attitude
17. Be able to operate autonomously
18. The ability to achieve sales targets set by management
