As a Senior Conveyancing Clerk, you will attend to the steps and requirements involved in buying and selling land for the Crown and instrumentalities of the Crown. Your responsibilities will include:

* Preparing documentation: preparing all necessary documentation for acquisition, purchase, mortgaging or disposal of land, including settlement figures.

* Investigating property titles: investigating, searching and verifying property titles.

* Drafting vesting instruments: drafting and finalising vesting instruments.

* Attending property settlements: attending property settlements.

* Lodging documentation: lodging documentation for registration (where applicable).

* Correspondence: attending to correspondence.

* Financial settlement statements: preparing financial settlement statements.

You will also be responsible for updating and maintaining the legal practice database, explaining conveyancing processes to clients and liaising with external parties, including vendors, purchasers, mortgagors, mortgagees, real estate agents and legal practitioners.


Required Skills and Qualifications

* Qualifications: Diploma in Business Administration or Business (Legal Services)
