Job Opportunity: Environmental Approvals Specialist
This is an exciting opportunity to support decarbonization efforts and drive forward the development of large scale renewable energy projects. As a key member of our team, you will lead and/or support environmental approvals for renewable energy and infrastructure sectors in Commonwealth, State and local jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead environmental approvals for renewable energy and infrastructure sectors.
* Collaborate with practitioners to execute projects and develop skills including technical skills, project experience and general consulting and decision-making skills.
* Contribute to proposal development, including development of technical scopes and cost estimates.
* Direct and monitor project management activities related to projects.
* Work with global resources to deepen relationships with key clients and expand our profile and market share in future energies markets.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in environmental planning or science, or related discipline.
* Minimum 3 years of relevant infrastructure and/or energy industry experience including environmental approvals/permitting and/or management.
* Experience with and understanding of the environmental/planning approvals process applicable to QLD projects.
* Strong knowledge of project management and experience working as part of an integrated team.
* Critical thinking skills and excellent report writing, data collation and management/presentation skills.
* Motivated to contribute to a team environment, share knowledge, skills and ideas.
