Do work that matters
Operating in a hybrid role as an Account Manager/Associate in our high-performing Major Client Group team, you'll play a key role in supporting Relationship Executives with the operational and credit needs of a portfolio of complex clients. You'll be responsible for preparing high-quality credit submissions, monitoring ongoing performance, and ensuring smooth execution of transactions.
In addition to your analytical responsibilities, you'll also provide support with daily client servicing needs, giving you exposure to account management and the opportunity to build strong client relationships. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to grow their career across both credit and client engagement.
More specifically, you will:
* Manage bank guarantee issuance and returns including with bespoke terms and conditions.
* Responsible for KYC processes and account openings (including transactional banking needs if applicable).
* Responsible for CCL/FA Pathway submissions.
* Responsible for processing credit submissions, preparation of external and internal finance documentation.
* Responsible for covenant monitoring and annual reviews for existing clients.
* Execute deals from end to end in collaboration with Relationship Executives, Risk, Product, and Legal teams.
* Analyse financial performance, industry trends, and assess transaction risks.
* Execute on funding activities.
* Provide responsive support for client transactions and banking requests.
* Maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity across systems.
* Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders to deliver seamless client outcomes.
We want to hear from you if you have:
* Experience as an Account Manager seeking to broaden your capabilities with credit analytical work, or if you're an experienced Associate aiming to expand into account management responsibilities.
* A background in commercial credit analysis, transaction advisory, debt structuring, or a similar analytical position within banking or consulting.
* A strong understanding of financial statements and well-developed financial modelling skills.
* A proactive mindset with a genuine desire to learn and grow.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
* Exposure to the construction or property sectors advantageous but not essential.
