Role Overview
Make a meaningful impact by ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients and staff while contributing to the delivery of timely and efficient catering, cleaning, and laundry services. This role offers the opportunity to develop practical skills across multiple service areas and play an essential part in the day‐to‐day operation of the health unit.
Responsibilities
As a Services Assistant, you will deliver high‐quality catering, cleaning, and laundry services that support patient care and maintain a safe, hygienic environment. You may be involved in preparing and serving food, performing general housekeeping duties, and assisting with laundry services. Your role contributes to infection control, efficient resource management, and the smooth operation of the health unit.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience in housekeeping, cooking/catering, and laundry.
* Experience with computer packages such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Ability to exercise own judgment and initiative in the day‐to‐day execution of a position.
Employment Conditions
* Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and appropriate immunisation requirements.
* National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups required.
* Immunisation risk category B.
