The successful applicant will be highly motivated and dedicated to making a difference to patient and family health outcomes provide high quality culturally appropriate services and work collaboratively with all members of the multidisciplinary team. The recently established Urgent Care Centre in Gosnells will offer high quality, medical treatment for walk-in patients with non-life-threatening injuries or illnesses. Staffed by a team of highly skilled doctors and nurses treating a range of urgent medical needs SELECTION CRITERIA – QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL : Registered Nurse ( RN ) with current AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) registration. Advanced clinical skills and experience in an Emergency Department (ED) or acute care setting. Triage experience with proficiency in assessing and prioritising patient care based on clinical need (e.g., ATS). Knowledge and experience in managing acute medical conditions, including but not limited to trauma, infections, and respiratory issues. Current CPR certification and other relevant certifications (e.g., ALS, PALS, etc.) Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment, managing high-pressure situations calmly and efficiently. Effective communication skills, both with patients and healthcare teams, problem solving and negotiation skills to ensure safe and effective care delivery. Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team. Able to engage patients actively and assertively from diverse backgrounds. Ability to assess and recognise health deterioration and escalate appropriately. DESIRABLE: Previous experience in Urgent Care Centres, Emergency Hospital or Acute Care settings. Previous experience in triage in an emergency department, preferably 1 year minimum. Experience over 3 years GP Nursing Experience. Competent computing skills including word processing, data entry and email.
