Our client is an established plastics manufacturing business operating injection moulding and automated assembly equipment. They run consistent production volumes with a strong focus on quality control and machine performance. This is a hands‐on technical role supporting daily manufacturing operations.
What's On Offer
* $40–$45 per hour, depending on experience
* Permanent full-time role in a stable manufacturing environment
* Day shift hours: Approximately 7:30am – 3:30pm
Job Responsibilities
* Die Setting: Perform mould changeovers, setup, and die setting on injection moulding machines
* Machine Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve moulding and assembly machine faults
* Production Setup: Optimise machine parameters, cycle times, and material usage
* Quality Control: Monitor product quality and oversee in-process quality checks
* Production Support: Supervise production runs and support output targets
Requirements
* Injection Moulding Experience: Hands‐on experience in die setting and plastics injection moulding
* Manufacturing Background: Minimum 5 years in plastics manufacturing or a similar role
* Mechanical Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude and fault‐finding ability
