Position Overview
The Supply & Product Manager is a newly created role that is reponsible for negotiating and securing the best possible range, pricing and commercial terms from Domestic Suppliers for our Members.
Additionally, the role overseas the procurement, sourcing and management of our exclusive International Product range. The Supply & Product Manager ensures seamless supply chain operations by maintaining strong relationships with overseas factories, managing our 3PL warehouses in China and Australia.
Key Competencies & Qualifications
* Proven experience in procurement, supply chain management, or product sourcing, preferably in the Assistive Technology or Mobility sector.
* Strong negotiation skills with a track record of securing favourable commercial terms with local and international suppliers.
* Strategic thinker with a strong business acumen.
* Experience working with international suppliers and managing overseas manufacturing relationships.
* Knowledge of logistics, shipping, and 3PL warehouse management.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and business insights.
* Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
* Ability to work independently and drive initiatives that enhance Member value.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and supply chain management software.
* Formal qualifications in Supply Chain Management, Product Engineering or Development, or Business management will be highly regarded.

This role is based in Wollongong, about 90 minutes south of Sydney in the beautiful Illawarra. The position offers the opportunity to avoid the daily commute to Sydney and enjoy all of the local attractions this region has to offer.
