Global Cyber Security product company needs a Senior DevOps Engineer for a 1 year renewable contract assignment. Must have heavy Linux engineering skills, particulary Ubuntu and Red Hat. Will code in Python & Bash and work with DevOps tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible etc $950 Daily. Work-From-Home Option. Must live in Sydney. REQUIREMENTS: 10 years of professional experience in Linux (Ubuntu) Engineering. Kernel tuning a plus. will lead major Ubuntu implementation. Experience with Cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS etc (Azure Preferable). Experience with DevOps concepts and “Infrastructure as Code” using tools such as Terraform, Puppet, Ansible etc Software deployment automation, CI/CD ( Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWX, ArgoCD). Experience with virtual server environments and containers - Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible etc Hands-on experience troubleshooting Prometheus and Grafana and configuring MySQL clusters. Helped build MySQL Clusters and work with SSL certificates. System and application monitoring – e.g. Grafana Prometheus, Loki, Cortex, Nagios/Icinga. Lower-level bare-metal experience in a plus.
