Responsibilities
* Workplace leadership relevant to community mental health practice.
* Significant knowledge, experience and leadership in area of speciality.
* Knowledge, understanding and experience of mental illness, assessment of complex presentations and providing evidence-based interventions for people with mental health or related disorders.
* Significant experience in crisis intervention and the prioritising, and management of psychiatric and non-psychiatric emergencies in complex situations.
* Knowledge and skills in the implementation of the WA Mental Health Act and legislation affecting clinical practice.
* Demonstrated computer literacy, word processing and data entry skills.
* Highly developed negotiation, problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team and use effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Position Profile
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, establish and maintain high quality standards of client care by leadership, delivery of care and role modelling in accordance with policies and procedures. Act as a clinical resource to staff across the service. Provide expert clinical assessment, screening, follow-up and care as required.
