Join an industry-leading residential home builder as a Building Manager, responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality homes across multiple regions and offices. You’ll lead a team of Construction Managers, Maintenance Managers, and Area Managers to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.
Beyond site delivery, you’ll play a key role in managing budgets and financial performance, driving profitability and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee 10 direct reports and up to 100 staff total, delivering over 500 homes across the region
- Oversee day-to-day construction operations, ensuring compliance with contracts, building codes, and company standards.
- Monitor progress, quality, and safety across all sites, taking corrective action when needed.
- Lead, mentor, and support your team to meet project and performance targets.
- Manage suppliers, contractors, and trade partners — including scheduling, cost control, and quality assurance.
- Drive efficiency, minimise waste, and contribute to continuous improvement across all building processes.
- Promote and uphold workplace health and safety practices on every site.
About You:
- Be willing to travel across all three office locations from Sydney to Northern NSW.
- Licensed Builder with a Certificate IV or Diploma in Building and Construction.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in residential construction management, leading teams of a similar size
- Strong knowledge of building codes, processes, and regulations.
- Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent project management and organisational abilities.
- Committed to quality, safety, and delivering exceptional results.
- Experience as a Building Manager, General Manager or Operations Manager with a construction background.
