With direct responsibility for contributing to and executing the short to medium term direction of the Savoury Bites portfolio (namely the Brand Plans and execution into the Annual Operating Commitment), this role requires a Brand Marketer, with previous NPD & project management experience. The expectation is that this knowledge is used to develop and execute the business plan, trade activations, sales training materials, portfolio optimisation and innovation plans, delivering brand growth to ensure delivery against financial targets.
This role works closely with the Future Growth Manager, and a close cross functional tie specifically with Category, QSR (Quick Service Restaurants i.e. McDonalds/KFC) & MEU (Major End User's) Customer Managers to ensure delivery of the marketing plans by account.
**About the role**
- Takes active ownership of taking the 5+ Business Strategy and converting into actionable AOC (Annual Operating Commitment) plans
- Lead the development of an innovation pipeline to ensure a continuous and successful QSR NPD pipeline fill
- Work closely with R&D, Operations, Procurement, Finance, Sales and Supply Chain to actively drive all elements of the innovation process from product development to launch
- Work with the Marketing & Sales Managers to capture key consumer, customer and market insights and translate these into commercial opportunities to enhance our brand portfolio
- Develop compelling sales training materials that builds knowledge and capability within the QSR channel for NPD and ongoing portfolio management
- Evaluate the effectiveness of activation programs against specific sales objectives and recommend changes if required
- Work closely with Category team to provide inputs & develop and present customer presentations
- Ensure a robust understanding of the key drivers for the brand / category through financial knowledge of the SKU's under their portfolio and their contribution to the business
- Work with Financial Planning to regularly review SKU margins/costs against agreed key performance indicators
- Input in the IBP process where required, owning and driving the outcomes for the Brand P&L delivery
- A&P budget management, issuing and reconciling purchase orders and invoices for A&P expenditure
- Ensure the company complies with legal requirements in respect to the sales promotion and advertising of its products
**About you**
- Ideally degree qualifications in Marketing or related field
- At least 2 years' experience in Marketing, Trade Activation or Product Management
- Prior NPD & project management experience - (critical)
- Sound commercial and financial acumen and exposure to budget management/phasing
- Ability to work operationally and adaptable to fast paced, changing and ambiguous environments whilst maintaining accountability.
- High degree of tenacity and persistence to get actions completed on schedule with a hands on approach.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills are essential.

- Be able to respond well to pressure and work autonomously within a high performing, fast paced business
- Be organised and methodical in budgeting, planning and reporting
- Courage to challenge the status quo and encourage creativity and entrepreneurial mindset
- Proficient level of computer literacy, in particular MS Excel, MS Project, MS Office
- Able to travel domestically
