With over 50 years experience as a leader in the truck manufacturing industry, we have a new opportunity for 3 x qualified fitters to join our growing team. Responsible for servicing, repairing and fitting new concrete Agi's (mixers) to the back of trucks, alongside other general mechanical tasks as required.
Hours: 7am till 3pm Monday to Friday, overtime available.
Key Responsibilities:
As part of the team, your main responsibilities will include:
* Fit and service concrete Agi's (mixers) onto trucks from new
* Perform repairs and maintenance on existing Agi's
* Carry out general mechanical tasks as required
* Follow direction and instructions accurately
* High level of communication with the production staff, supervisors and management team
* Follow all safe work practices to ensure a safe work environment
* Maintain a clean and tidy work area
* Working in fabrication/engineering environment
About You
To be successful in this opportunity you will possess the following:
* Fitter trade qualification
* Proven experience in a fitter role
* Good mechanical aptitude with strong understanding of hand and power tools, machinery and equipment
* Ability to work autonomously once trained
* No Agi experience required - training will be provided
* Hydraulic experience is a bonus but not essential
* Must be a quick learner and able to follow instructions
