Purpose
We're looking for a dynamic Digital Content Creator to lead the strategic and creative development of our digital presence - this role is responsible for digital-first content including social-first video, animation and digital creators - working both in-house and with external partners to innovate and scale Mimco's approach to digital content. This role blends visual storytelling, digital design, and content strategy to elevate our brand across all paid and organic digital channels.
As a key member of the marketing team, in partnership with the Social Specialist, you will own the creative direction and content for our social media platforms. You will own producing high-quality digital assets that engage and convert. When required this role will give additional support to Content and Graphic Design team to create BAU Digital Marketing Assets, for Mimco owned and paid channels.
To be successful in this role, the candidate will bring an innovation mindset to the team - looking at ever-evolving digital content trends to identify opportunities to continuously evolve the brand's content mix.
Key Accountabilities
* Creative design and content production
* Create short-form video and motion content (e.g., reels, animations, promo clips) to drive engagement on key platforms.
* Content strategy and planning - In partnership with marketing lead team, build the content strategy and planning for all organic and paid social media platforms and digital channels, (including but not limited to Mimco Online, Mimco App, Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and others relevant to our brand)
* Execution and optimization of insights and data on content performance
Key Capabilities
* 3+ years of experience in digital content creation, social media design, or a similar creative role.
* Video editing, motion design, animation and 3D design skills (Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut).
* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and Figma.
* Strong understanding of platform-specific content requirements (aspect ratios, tone, copy length, etc.).
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
