Job Title Lease Manager Job Description Summary The Lease Manager role is responsible for managing aspects of the client/s lease portfolio and providing day-to-day lease advice. Job Description The Cushman & Wakefield / Property and Development NSW account team is responsible for the delivery of a range of property and facilities management services across Property and Development NSW and its various clusters and agencies. The nominated portfolio consists of freehold and leasehold properties across New South Wales (NSW). The delivery includes property and facility management, procurement exercises, minor churn, environmental and associated financial management services. About the Role: Review and approve lease obligation summary and send to relevant parties Review and approve annual CPI and Fixed increases implemented Liaise directly with the Transaction Management team to ensure alignment of data for lease abstraction, amendments, correspondence and exceptions, premises being exited or changes to current premises so that all database entries are complete and accurate always Quality reviews for compliance and insurance certifications Expenditure rent roll review and variance reporting Approve all workflows relating to recurring payments, non-recurring payments and lease terminations Resolve all payment exceptions and communicate resolution to Landlord/agent Revenue rent roll review and variance reporting Revenue recharges - identify variances, rectify and approve workflow Prepare outgoings recharge sheet for new tenants Follow up revenue tenants for outstanding payments and approve workflow. Review year end reconciliation documentation and engage with Auditor. Review, balance, verify and reconcile annual expenditure budgets and reconciliations of outgoings Circulate reconciliation report to internal/external stakeholders Quality review audit findings Interpret lease stipulations for specific client obligations Site renewals – upon receiving data from Leasing Executive, consult with and instruct solicitors on lease documentation and execute lease Exercise of Option - upon receiving data from Leasing Executive, consult with and instruct solicitors on lease documentation and execute lease New revenue tenant - upon receiving data from Leasing Executive, consult with and instruct solicitors on lease documentation and execute lease About You: Minimum 3+ years' experience working with Property/Lease Management databases and related reporting systems Experience & knowledge across a broad range of property activities essential. Ability to perform critical lease document administration and management functions. Strong client focus and customer service mindset essential. Demonstrated ability to act upon client instructions and to negotiate outcomes in line with client expectations. Able to work independently and as part of both a local and international team.
