Key Responsibilities
Plan, design, and oversee construction and maintenance of civil engineering projects, including roads, drainage, earthworks, and structural elements
Conduct site inspections, surveys, and assessments to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards
Prepare and review engineering drawings, technical reports, estimates, and project documentation
Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, architects, surveyors, and other engineering professionals
Monitor construction progress, identify issues, and implement effective solutions
Ensure all work complies with relevant Australian Standards, building codes, and company safety policies
Perform quality control checks and ensure proper documentation throughout project life cycles
Assist with tender preparation, project planning, and resource allocation
Foster positive relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent recognised qualification
Minimum 3 years of experience in civil engineering or construction project delivery
Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction processes, and Australian Standards
Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar tools
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a project-driven environment
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
