About the role We are looking for a highly motivated Legal Assistant to join our Asbestos & Dust Diseases Team in our Rockhampton office on a full-time, permanent basis.
You will bring your strong organisational skills and customer service commitment to the role, as well as possess a high degree of initiative, a proven ability to handle pressure and conflicting priorities, strong organisational and time management skills, and outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

Our Asbestos, Silica and Occupational Disease Team are market leaders in Dust Diseases litigation and pride themselves on ensuring that their clients not only receive the best compensation result but provide exceptional services during our client's compensation journey.
The role will involve: Documentation management tasks, producing accurate file notes, filing and monitoring for further actionProduce client correspondence and prepare court documents as requestedBuild strong relationships with clients, including assisting with enquiries and proactively seeking information where appropriateWork collaboratively with team members, sharing knowledge, supporting and contributing constructivelyAnswer all incoming client enquiries and assist or transfer calls where appropriateProvide accurate updates and information to clients within a timely manner and manage expectationsManage the administration of all client files from open to closeYou will also have the skills to:
