NRM South is one of Tasmania's regional natural resource management organisations, working in partnership with communities, landholders, industry and government to improve the health of our landscapes, waterways and biodiversity.
We are a values-driven organisation where people care deeply about the environment and Tasmania's future, value collaboration and respectful relationships, bring curiosity, innovation and practical problem-solving, and are committed to delivering real-world impact, not just process.
We operate in a dynamic space where science, community, policy and on-ground action come together to deliver meaningful environmental and productivity outcomes.
What you'll do
The Partnerships and Pipeline Lead plays a critical role in strengthening NRM South's financial sustainability and organisational resilience by ensuring partnership, funding, and diversification opportunities are actively progressed, coordinated, and converted into tangible outcomes.
The role enables the organisation to move from opportunity to outcome. It ensures that grants, partnerships, investment opportunities, and funding proposals are strategically coordinated, high-quality, and delivered on time, with clear follow-through and accountability across the organisation.
Working across all teams, the position maintains visibility of NRM South's partnership and funding pipeline, ensuring opportunities are identified, tracked, prioritised, and progressed. The role directly supports revenue growth, partnership development, diversification, and long-term organisational resilience.
Working closely with the CEO and Leadership Team, you will coordinate funding, partnership and diversification opportunities from initial identification through to proposal development, investment, agreement and activation. You will help ensure opportunities are prioritised, progressed and converted into outcomes through strong systems, disciplined follow-through and effective coordination across the organisation.
The role combines elements of partnership development, funding coordination, proposal development, stakeholder management and pipeline oversight. It is ideally suited to someone who enjoys connecting people, ideas and opportunities while ensuring that important actions don't fall through the cracks.
You will help maintain visibility of future funding horizons, coordinate high-quality submissions and proposals, manage CRM and stakeholder tracking systems, and provide strategic intelligence that supports organisational planning and resilience.
This is a role for someone who is highly organised, solutions-focused and comfortable working across multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. You will be motivated by outcomes, enjoy building momentum, and take pride in helping others succeed.
What you'll bring
You'll have relevant qualifications or experience in business, communications, project management, or a related field. You will possess a strong understanding of philanthropy, corporate partnerships, grant processes, funding agreements, or proposal development, as well as an understanding of natural resource management, environmental programs, or related sectors, including awareness of key issues, funding priorities, and delivery contexts in the sector.
What we offer
We offer a salary of $91,166 (pro rata) + superannuation. NRM South values diversity and inclusion in its team and provides career progression opportunities.
