The Role
Maintenance Planner (Fixed Term Contract)
Based at Dubbo offices, you will report to the Maintenance Manager. Your responsibilities include:
* Developing and maintaining the maintenance schedule for operations with production teams.
* Planning materials, resources, equipment and contractors for planned preventative and shutdown maintenance works.
* Consulting with operations supervisors/leaders on preventative maintenance activities and equipment servicing.
* Partnering with maintenance supervisors to schedule manpower and resources effectively.
* Developing cost and time estimates of planned maintenance work.
* Maintaining up-keep and accuracy of technical information and equipment maintenance history.
* Continually improving planning, scheduling, purchasing, stores, data management and job reporting systems.
Your Experience
We seek candidates with experience in maintenance planning and scheduling within any industry, preferably with multi-site experience.
* You should have exceptional communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, prioritisation and planning skills.
* Experience in planning using CMMS software (SAP desirable) is a plus.
* A strong asset management background in materials handling/fixed plant/mobile plant is required.
* Awareness and understanding of budget constraints are essential.
* You must be able to work effectively under pressure and apply complex problem solving and critical thinking techniques.
