This position within Strategy & Operations team is part of the commercial organization at Janssen Biotech of Johnson & Johnson. The group is responsible for Marketing Engagement & Education, Strategy & Execution & Congress and Conventions across the portfolio. This role focuses on planning, budgeting, vendor management and internal stakeholder engagement for Brand Marketing's Speaker Bureaus and Advisory Boards.
Key Responsibilities
- Report to and work in partnership with the Marketing Engagements & Education Lead, ensuring operational excellence related to planning, budgeting, vendor management and internal stakeholder engagement for PS&E Marketing and Field Teams' Speaker Bureaus and Advisory Boards, and maintain strategy and execution of speaker programs reflective of the Johnson & Johnson US Oncology Portfolio Approach, including budget ownership and tracking.
- Coordinate and submit professional education plans including the Annual Needs Assessment across the PS&E marketing oncology portfolio, brand marketing, and other functions to ensure optimal customer engagement. Partner with the GPD and PD to shape future educational plans for HCPs through innovative engagement platforms for the growing oncology portfolio.
- Plan and execute speaker program activities (pre-, peri-, and post-speaker programs). Serve as liaison between the PS&E Marketing Team and the Speaker Program Vendor. Support the PS&E Marketing Leadership Team and manage communications, scheduling, coordination of meeting debriefs, and data collection for performance metric reviews.
- Support execution and management of the National Faculty at the community and academic level.
- Operational Excellence: Deliver key operational workstreams and execute Speaker Programs per J&J standard operating procedures. Identify opportunities for innovation and operational improvement, implementing new policies, procedures, technology, or resources that evolve current standard operating procedures for Speakers Bureau, Advisory Boards, and lifecycle management initiatives.
- Project Management: Develop and manage planning timelines and action plans with cross‐functional partners to meet all deadlines and deliverables. Communicate thoroughly and timely to internal stakeholders and external partners. Schedule speaker training, meetings and event logistics with the Speaker Program Vendor(s), manage budgets, administrative tasks, tactical deployment, and external agencies for optimal execution.
- Cross‐functional Coordination: Align with Brand Marketing, Strategic Marketing, Thought Leader Engagement, Health Care Compliance, Legal, Sales, Sales Training, Business Analytics, Strategic Customer Group, Medical Affairs, North America Pharma Affiliates, Alliance Management, Communications, Corporate and external vendors to ensure aligned strategy and execution, identify barriers and deliver solutions.
- Customer Experience: Identify and implement innovative practices to enable consistent and impactful customer stakeholder experiences at speaker programs. Evaluate opportunities to drive innovation and operational excellence in US Oncology's speaker programs and advisory boards, assess current tools and resources, identify gaps and opportunities for improvement, and lead evaluation of new or additional resources.
- Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to legal and regulatory guidelines for medical education compliance.
- Develop skill set in numerous marketing competencies along with leadership opportunities that increase exposure to all business areas.

Qualifications
Required
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required. MBA or advanced degree in a related field is helpful.
- 5-7 years of pharmaceutical industry, corporate agency experience, consulting, and/or change management experience.
- Practical knowledge of pharmaceutical marketing, including FDA regulatory and legal environment and HCC regulations.
- Highly detailed and organized; capable of managing multiple large‐scale events and priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to strategically lead through influence and work effectively in a matrix, unstructured environment with proven success solving ambiguous business challenges.
- Demonstrated experience in critical marketing competencies: analysis, customer/market knowledge, marketing execution and pharmaceutical environment.
- Ability to assess needs of the brands across the portfolio in collaboration with brand leadership.
- Identify and proactively outline best‐in‐class professional education programs across the oncology portfolio.
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
- Experience leading continuous process improvement initiatives and best‐practice sharing.
- Interpersonal flexibility to interact with a broad range of personnel.
- Ability to travel up to 25% which may include overnights and weekend travel domestically with limited international travel.
- In‐person office collaboration 3 days / week.
Preferred
- Work‐related experience in Oncology.
- Experience working with PS&E marketing or field teams (Key Account Manager, Urology Account Manager, Oncology Clinical Educator, etc.).
- Knowledge of internal systems: Totality, ARIBA, IMPROVE, iMedical and CentrisDirect.
This position is based in Horsham, PA and will require up to 20% travel US with limited OUS travel.
