The Opportunity:
We are currently seeking an experienced Draftsperson to join our Sunshine Coast team.
In this role you will play an integral part in delivering accurate, compliant and high-quality survey plans, in accordance with regulatory requirements and client specifications. You will be responsible for preparing a range of cadastral survey plans such as subdivision, easement, building format plans, lease and identification surveys.
About You:
Ideally, you will hold a formal qualification in drafting, GIS, surveying or spatial science, supported by practical knowledge of regulatory requirements for plan preparation.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD
* An understanding of the Cadastral Survey Requirements, and Registrar of Titles Directions for the Preparation of Plans.
* Experience in contour and detail plans, engineering, as-constructed surveys, and ADAC would be highly beneficial
* Exposure with AutoCAD Civil 3D, 12d Model, Trimble Business Centre (TBC) and Esri ArcGIS Pro and preparing cadastral survey plans is highly regarded, however, we also welcome applications from motivated drafting or surveying students looking to gain practical industry experience.
What we offer:
This is a permanent position based at our Warana office on the Sunshine Coast. While the role is designed around 38 hours per week (full time), we are open to discussing a working schedule that suits you, whether that’s slightly fewer hours (part time), or working a flexible schedule.
