Our firm seeks a skilled and motivated Solicitor to manage litigation matters, draft pleadings and other court documents, conduct debt recovery proceedings, advise clients on property disputes and commercial litigation matters.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage litigation matters from inception to resolution
* Draft pleadings, affidavits, and other court documents
* Conduct debt recovery proceedings, including demands, negotiations, and settlements
* Advise clients on property disputes and commercial litigation matters
* Conduct legal research and prepare strategic client advice
* Appear in court and instruct counsel where required
* Manage a high-volume caseload efficiently while maintaining high-quality outcomes
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Admitted as a solicitor in Australia
* 2–5 years' post-admission experience in litigation or commercial law (flexible for strong candidates with relevant paralegal experience)
* Strong legal drafting, analytical, and communication skills
* Experience in debt recovery or property law highly regarded
* Excellent time management, with sharp attention to detail
* Ability to work autonomously while thriving in a team-oriented environment
